Opened in 1921, Bass Lake Golf Course is a luxurious 18-hole course with a rich history of golfing tradition located at the Bass Lake Golf Course facility. The course features 6,300 yards of green from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 68.3 and it has a slope rating of 112. Knox Depot
Knox Depot is proudly home to the Starke County Chamber of Commerce and the Starke County Tourism Commission. This beautifully restored Depot is located on US35. To schedule a tour, please call ahead.
Starke County Historical Society Museum
Come out and experience a bit of Knox’s history by visiting the Starke County Historical Society Museum. The Museum itself is located in the house of former twice-elected Governor of Indiana, Henry F. Schricker. The Museum hours are 12pm to 4pm Tuesday through Friday. Parks & Recreation
Wythogan Park
Wythogan Park offers visitors and residents alike with a variety of delights for all ages and interests. There are play areas and shelters that are great for having a picnic or throwing your child’s birthday party. The park also has a newly added SkatePark for all those interested in skateboarding thanks to the Knox Friends of the Park. Kankakee State Fish and Wildlife Area
The Kankakee State Fish and Wildlife Area offers numerous excellent fishing spots for lucky anglers to catch a variety of species. Knox Harvest Festival
The Knox Harvest Festival is one festival you can’t afford to miss. With everything from a variety of sport events, a tractor show, trolley drivers, and a variety of local bands, there’s sure to be something to please the whole family. This festival is held annually the last weekend in August.
